Boca Company Honored for Meeting One of the Most Difficult Framing Challenges of the Decade

Boca Raton, Fla. - In a nationwide competition to determine America’s most talented framers and shadow box builders, ARTERIORS, formerly The Art & Frame Company,  recently came in second out of the hundreds of entries that were submitted by framers from coast to coast.

The winning entry from ARTERIORS was designed and fabricated by Karen Roumay and Kathy Hunt, two of the most imaginative framing artists on the company’s award-winning team of professional framers.

According to a spokesperson for Framerica, the people who sponsored the competition, “This was one of the most difficult framing challenges of the past decade. Ms. Roumay and Ms Hunt proved to be among the best, most creative shadow box builders in the country. Given the fact that shadow box building is one of the most challenging, most precise forms of custom framing, this accomplishment clearly demonstrates that these people can handle any framing request.”

The ARTERIORS' entry was a working foosball table displaying soccer memorabilia. On the floor of the competition, the entry astounded thousands of show visitors and drew tremendous praise from industry peers.

ARTERIORS is one of Florida’s largest resources for prints, oils, mirrors, accessories and fine furnishings. Now in its eighth year, the company recently expanded its collection of fine furniture and accessories, utilizing much of its second floor showroom to display a constant turnover of new items from some of the world’s most celebrated manufacturers.

The ARTERIORS showroom is located at 51 Glades Road in Boca Raton, just West of Dixie Highway. For more information including hours and directions, call 561-750-1554.
